Come Down After Me

Everybody, everybody
everybody’s gonna come down after me
So you think you’re so smart
In your lazy non-existence
Well, I’m quite done and I don’t need your
Further assistance
So watch me now, what’s the matter?
I just tiptoe into matter on this spiralling staircase
It’s a little bit acidic, but it’s self-replicating
And it gives me a body that is bound to move
Everybody, everybody
everybody’s gonna come down after me
So why do you tremble as I disassemble
Your outdated obedience
For I need a vessel that allows me to gather
Some memorable experience
So watch me tiptoe down on this spiralling staircase
In case you didn’t expect this
Let me tell you I’m already knee-deep in my body
And its skeleto-muscular system is quite dope
Everybody, everybody
everybody’s gonna come down after me
Just a friendly piece of advice as I’m picking up the pieces
It’s quite unwise to incarnate as an extinct species
So it’s in your best interest to gather some
Preliminary information about what’s going on,
What’s still avaiéabe as a life formation
Otherwise, you’ll miss out on the best parts of life
Such as birth, sex and dying
Believe me, I’ve spent way too much time as a fossil
And I don’t really recommend trying it out
Everybody, everybody
everybody’s gonna come down after me

Broken pianos and cans of turpentine
Are Scattered all over this desolate coastline
Nuclear Radiation turned the water into wine
Is it a farewell gift from God or a warning sign?
The tide is rising and animals go wild
Toxic pollution put vegetation out of sight
Humankind is orphaned and my dog expired too
It might have been the neighbours or the flu
According to the pious it is all because of sin
Nonetheless I don`t get why they frown upon my gin
After all, if it's true that doomsday is nigh
We're better off drinking before we die
Some say the end has come but I doubt that they are right
I still want to pour some champagne down into my mouth
Though the sun has exploded we still have a bottle of rum
And we don`t have to worry until that`s gone

Would you be my second breakfast, Rosie?
Would you be my second breakfast, Rosie?
Even though I ate
It’s never too late
To lay you on the table
To a plate of any size,
I prefer your thighs
When you kiss me,
It’s a course on its own
Would you be my second breakfast, Rosie?
Would you be my second breakfast, Rosie?
Like beer with foam
When I hear you moan,
My heart overflows with pleasure
Your dough is soft and sweet
With you nothing can compete
Spread your legs like butter on the bread
Would you be my second breakfast, Rosie?
Would you be my second breakfast, Rosie?
You are the kitchen queen
Let me lick your dishes clean
Mmmm
No more beef or pork
I want to put you on my fork
You know, I’m a man of carnal pleasure

When you shiver in the dark, he relieves you of your trembling
When you’re burning with fever, he lays a soothing hand
When your woman leaves you to be with another man
He mends your broken heart, it will never ever break again
Death is a poor man’s doctor
Death is a poor man’s doctor
He is balm to every wound, he’s the ultimate painkiller
You don’t need no other treatment once he’s done what he can do (for you)
No more prescriptions, no more million-dollar cure
He takes you by the hand and shows an open door
‘Cause Death is a poor man’s doctor
Death is a poor man’ doctor
Water for the thirsty, truth for the fake,
Haven for the sailor, freedom for the slave,
Home for the homeless, mother for every orphaned child
He is movement for the crippled, he is vision for the blind
Death is a poor man’s doctor
Death is a poor man’s doctor
